Her features were unrecognizable at first, but the more frequently the dream occured, the clearer she became. Her purpose and presence remain a mystery. Crystal Richardson Physical Appearance: Brown hair, brown eyes Age: 16 Abilities: Well, she sure does get into trouble a lot . . . The Past: When she was a child, her father was discovered in the waters of a lake near their hometown. Days after his death, she began to have the recurring nightmare involving Giulia. As time wore on, the dream became more and more vivid, until . . . Relatives: Tabitha (mother), Julian (older brother), Scott (younger brother) Love Interest: You'll see. I think I made this one fairly obvious? Anyway, it's not her brother! (Pervs XP) Personality: Crystal's temperment is quite unpredictable. One moment, she'll be laughing, the next crying. Despite that (or perhaps BECAUSE of it), she has the natural ability to make others feel at ease around her and attract the attention of others (though sometimes the attention is not so welcome). She is quite sensitive to the feelings of others, acting as somewhat of an empath for her family and friends. Harboring others' feelings occasionally has the detrimental effect of causing her to clam up and not express her own, casting her into mild depressions, but the affection of her loved ones and, oh yeah, CHOCOLATE, often lift her from her funks. Alicia Shima Physical Appearance: Black hair, black eyes Age: 17 Abilities: Highly spiritual. She has an uncanny ability to see into people's thoughts and predict a turn of events in the near future (which, to her chagrin, makes her quite popular). She is also quite skilled in martial arts, and uses it to her advantage. The Past: Alicia is, to all extents and purposes, an orphan. Her parents were killed in a car crash when she was very young. Stricken with grief, she solemnly swore never to let herself cry, lest she sadden their spirits. Relatives: Her sole surviving relative is her grandfather, Hashimate, who took her under his wing. Love Interest: None yet. She's too busy hating guys to like them right now. Personality: She puts on a tough facade, mainly because she is intolerant of most people (heh heh), but mostly she's very sarcastic. If she knows someone well enough, she will tease them mercilessly. Her friendship with Crystal is something of a novelty, as she does not allow herself many friends, and she is generally put off by any show of neurotic behavior (or intense sensitivity). They've grown so close that Alicia can occasionally catch wisps of Crystal's thoughts and memories. Patrick Rosenburgh Physical Appearance: Dark brown hair, grey eyes Age: 17 Abilities: Though he doesn't often show it, he is quite skilled at hand-to-hand combat and has quite a bit of knowledge of weapons. The Past: Following the trend of non-present parents, Patrick's mother vanished shortly after giving birth. Not a trace was found of her. Relatives: Christian (Father) Love Interest: He has one . . . Personality: Patrick is one of those people who will sit in the uproar of a party and nurse a drink quietly while others are making idiots of themselves. He is involved, but he maintains a distance to see everything from an objective point of view. As such, he also has the ability to manipulate a person's view of a situation. He generally uses the ability for the better, but, like Alicia, there are certain people he just can't resist scaring the hell out of. Julian Richardson Physical Appearance: Light brown hair, brown eyes Age: 18 Abilities: He can beat things into a bloody pulp if he gets angry enough. Though I don't know if that's more of a personality quirk than an ability . . . The Past: As the eldest, he remembers the most about his father and was the most effected by his death, which was listed as a murder. Relatives: Tabitha (mother), Crystal (sister), Scott (brother) Love Interest: Girls tend to fawn over him because of his long hair, but he has high standards (WAY high standards). Basically, he's too picky right now. Personality: Ever heard of a brother who actually likes his siblings and wants to protect them? Well, that's Julian. He fits the big brother role to a "T" and beyond. He often embroils himself in the messes that his siblings get into and strives to find a way out, chastising them the whole way. Another interesting aspect of Julian's personality is his pacifist/berserker nature. He would prefer not to fight, but when pushed (ie Crystal's skeezy ex violating her personal space) he can cause some serious damage. More to come as more characters are introduced. ;)
